Nikkia Holmes, born and raised in the impoverished projects on the south side of Toledo, Ohio she grew up very quickly.  Pregnancy by the age of 14, surrounded by gangs, drugs, and domestic violence the odds were completely against her.  With a family tormented by generational curses, depression and suicide, it wasn’t long before she began battling those same travesties witnessed and passed down to her.  A single parent at the tender age of 20 and determined to give her son a better life, she packed their belongings, gathered her courage, stepped out on faith and relocated to Atlanta, Georgia.  Nikkia's unmatched determination and strong belief in a power greater than her own is what led her to embark on a journey that would completely change her life. Within months she landed her first corporate position leading to a lucrative offer out of state, but God had different plans for her.  Just days before signing the contract and relocating, she met the love of her life, later married, and had four beautiful children adding to an already blended family. 

 

She became the definition of a "powerhouse" alongside her husband a Power Couple inspiring the African American communities in the Atlanta area, her hometown, and abroad!  Investing in Real Estate at the age of 23, Real Estate Agent by 24, and by 26 her net-worth had reached well over 3 million dollars. She along with her husband built their first dream home, 9000 square feet nestled on five acres of land truly a dream come true.  She’s owned several business’s J&N Consulting & Contracting, Thru-A-Child's Eyes Childcare, New Visions Entertainment Company, New Visions Learning Academy, New Visions Printing and Advertising, New Visions Real Estate Firm, Hype Cycle, OH & J2 Investment Firm, and Holmes Real Estate Empire. Building generational wealth for her children, her family and breaking down every barrier in her way. She is a triple threat!

 

Nikkia has fought many battles that made her question her very existence, at times she thought she would surely break but she has continued to persevere through the different cycles of extreme adversities and triumph's chronicled throughout this book.   Her debut book “Mastering The Cycle” gives you the keys to surviving and mastering your breaking point. Humbly she takes nothing for granted, giving God the praise for everything!  Her motto is simple; Keep God 1st and trust his process!
